how do go about selling my property?
Contact First Choice Properties! First, we will send round one of our trained valuers to have a look at your property and help you decide on an asking price.

What are the legal procedures?
We will put you in contact with a local lawyer who will explain the procedure to you and ensure that everything goes smoothly.
Your lawyer will liase with the buyer's lawyer so you won't have to concern yourself with legal formalities!
Once you accept an offer on your house the sale should be completed in a matter of weeks.
How much will it cost me?
At First Choice Properties, we charge a competitive commission of only 2.5% to sell your property. This will need to be paid on completion.
You also need to pay the plusvalia tax, which is a tax on the increase of the land value only during the period of ownership. This tax is usually quite small and but can vary a lot according to location of the property.
A fee to your lawyer, usually 0.5% to 1% of the value of the property, will also be due. Remember that as in all countries there may be a government capital gains tax on the increase in value (which is not to be confused with the plusvalia tax).
This depends on your residency status, and your lawyer will assist you in determining this.
